The LG V30 camera app has been ported to the LG G6

0

The LG V30 has finally been revealed and with it, a beefy camera that comes with several new features in the app. LG G6 owners will be happy to know that the camera app from the V30 has been ported to the LG G6, minus only a few features.

XDA Developer contributor xpirt has managed to port the camera app, bringing all existing LG G6 features and all new modes featured in the LG V30 camera app with the exception of Cine mode. The app appears to be completely functional and includes a fully working manual mode. All models of the LG G6 can use the app as long as you’re on the official stock ROM. Of course, the caveat here is that you’ll need to be rooted in order to install the new camera app.

We’ve had the LG V30 in hand for a few weeks now and Joe has dutifully given us a look at what kind of pictures the V30 is capable of producing. They’re pretty stunning so be sure to check them out.
