These real Android Oreo cookies are not for you

0

What a roller coaster of emotions, man. Yesterday, we were treated to the unveiling of Android 8.0’s name shortly after the solar eclipse swept the United States. It’s Oreo, folks.

And you know what that means: cream-filled Oreo goodness with an Android logo stamped on. The frosting is even green! Our natural first question was where to buy the delicious treat, but we’re here to break the news to you: you can’t.

Unlike the KitKat launch — where KitKat actually released Android-branded wrappers at retail to promote a big giveaway — these Oreo cookies were made specifically for the unveiling ceremony at Google’s Mountain View campus. That means a whole gang of Googlers got to gobble all of them up, but not many else will be able to do the same.

It’s sad, but what are you going to do? Suppose you could just go and make your own if you’re skilled enough. That’s if you’re able to resist eating them all before you’ve done the deed.
