Instagram makes it possible to reply to almost everything with pictures and video

Instagram has announced several new ways to reply with photos and videos. They’ve added the ability to reply to photos, videos, and reshared posts in Direct Messages.

You’ll see a new reply button with a camera icon. This will open up the camera with a “sticker” of what you’re replying to. This allows you to literally react to the photo or video. You can also tap on the sticker to do a split-screen.

This might be a small update, but it once again shows how Instagram is continuing to improve their app. Snapchat adds dancing hot dogs while their app is still a steaming pile on Android. Instagram is adding valuable features to improve the experience.
