T-Mobile changed the game for cellular providers when they announced JUMP nearly two years ago. An early upgrade program that gave customers the ability to “jump” onto the latest devices, it’s seen a few revisions since then. Right now there are a few options — JUMP Plus, JUMP, and JUMP On Demand — that last being the most popular as customers can upgrade their devices as soon as every 3 months.

It’s always been a sort of loose rule, depending on the store or customer service rep you were talking to, but today T-Mobile is making JUMP On Demand even more attractive with the ability to upgrade your device every 30 days. T-Mobile’s support page was updated with this new change last week, but it seems to have flown under the radar. Here’s how JUMP On Demand works:

  • When you sign up, you enter into an 18-month agreement, which gives you the option to upgrade to a new device up to up to once every 30 days.
  • Your monthly payments, and the total amount you pay during the entire lease agreement, will depend on your credit approval, the device and plan you choose, and any taxes and government fees.
  • Any device leased through JUMP! On Demand is owned by T-Mobile.
  • Most the latest devices are eligible, but you can contact T-Mobile Customer Service if you have any questions.

Sounds pretty great right? There are a lot of Android devices out there and most folks settle with a phone and stick with it for a year or two. If you’re a techie, this has always been one of the biggest issues as you probably want to try out everything. With this plan, you never have to settle. Onward and upward.
