It’s official: OnePlus 5 will be announced June 20th

0

Just the other day, we were mulling over the possibility that the OnePlus 5 could be announced June 20th thanks to a leaked “Save The Date” graphic. Welp, it looks like that came true.

OnePlus is hosting the event June 20th, at 5:00PM BST. That’s 12PM Eastern here in the United States, and 16:00 GMT for those who aren’t acclimated with the AM/PM format.

OnePlus is actually doing a number of popup events around the world for this launch. If you live in New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oulu, Tampere, or Turku, you’ll be able to attend and check out the phone early and check out some swag. Folks in NYC will get the special privilege to also meet Carl Pei and special guest Marques Brownlee of MKBHD.

Anyway, now that our calendars are circled in bright red, expect the OnePlus teases to flow heavier than ever, and keep on the lookout for more leaks as we lead up to the big event.
