Has Pokemon GO made you more active?

0

The American Heart Association has published a new study that falls under the “well, no duh” category. The study finds that Pokemon GO may contribute to better health, as the game encourages folks to be more active.

This doesn’t come as some sort of shock, especially to anyone who’s played any other geolocation games which rely on you going around town to play it.

Of course, Pokemon GO takes extra measures to encourage you to walk around instead of doing something like driving form place to place. That includes features like hatching eggs via walking (they won’t hatch while driving unless you drive like a blind granny).

But still, we’re curious: do you find Pokemon GO has made for a healthier you? Do you actually go for regular walks now? Has it helped you lose any weight or simply contributed to an overall better feeling? Let us know straight ahead.
