OnePlus 5 announcement may actually happen June 20th

Previous leaks have told us to circle June 15th as the date OnePlus would look to announce the OnePlus 5. While the authenticity of those leaks was never determined, we have another supposed one to consider.

A Weibo user posted what seems to be a “save the date” image for OnePlus, and the 20th date of whichever month (it should be June) is circled. That would seem to suggest that June 20th will be the day we hear more about the OnePlus 5.

Of course, we can’t be sure of the authenticity of this particular leak either, but all signs do seem to be pointing toward a general “mid-June” expectation. OnePlus itself is starting to ramp up on teasers, so it does seem we’re close to the full announcement being made.
