Samsung updates Bixby with the ability to send money to friends

0

Despite all the troubles that Samsung is seemingly encountering when it comes to bringing Bixby Voice to the US, the company is still pushing new updates to the service in South Korea. A new update is starting to rollout to Bixby Voice which allows users the ability to send money to friends and family.

Samsung has partnered with three major banks in South Korea to bring this new feature to users. In addition to being able to send money, Bixby will also give you information regarding your bank account, such as your remaining balance.

When it comes to actually sending money, the actual process will take place in the Samsung Pay application. After Bixby has been directed to send money to someone, it will connect with Samsung Pay and then will ask for verification using the iris scanner.

Here’s to hoping that a similar feature is made available for Bixby once its finally rolled out to the rest of us in the world.
