Motorola has been in the news quite a bit lately, as we have been seeing more and more leaks surrounding the Moto Z2 Play. This device may be pegged to replace the standard Moto Z, opening the door for the Moto Z2 Force to take the role of the flagship for Motorola and Lenovo.

Earlier today, Motorola’s Canadian Twitter account decided to give everyone a teaser, by stating its “next bold phone” would be announced on June 1st. While we aren’t 100% sure what device will be unveiled, we’d put our money on the Z2 Play being the centerpiece.

As for what the Z2 Play is expected to bring the table, we learned more about the specs for the device after an unboxing video was published. The Z2 Play is expected to feature a 5.5-inch FHD display, while being powered by the Snapdragon 626 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.

Despite the Z2 Play likely to feature a smaller battery than its predecessor, it has surprisingly turned into one of the more exciting devices of 2017. Let us know what you think Motorola has in store for June 1st and what devices we’ll be seeing.
