The Galaxy S8 is selling twice as fast as the Galaxy S7 in Korea

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has received a lot of praise since it was launched. How does all that praise translate into sales? According to Samsung, it has translated very well. The Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus have hit the one million sales mark in South Korea.

It only took 37 days for one million sales in South Korea. Last year, it took 74 days for both models of the Samsung Galaxy S7 to hit one million. The Samsung Galaxy S6 needed 75 days to hit the mark. South Korea is just one of many markets, but it shows how popular the Galaxy S8 has been. It’s really remarkable that Samsung has been able to make this quick turnaround after the Note 7 debacle.

Are you surprised by the quick success of the Galaxy S8? Do you own one of the Galaxy S8 models?
