BlackBerry KeyOne pre-orders seem to be shaping up nicely, at least in Canada

0

While some of the technology journalism crowd has already gotten its hands on the BlackBerry KeyOne, nobody in the general public has been able to snag one for themselves. This includes our lovely friends north of the border in Canada, where BlackBerry has a YUGE following.

In anticipation of its May 31st release date in North America, TCL President, Steve Cistulli, decided to tease everyone a bit. In a series of tweets, Cistulli seemingly confirmed the overwhelming excitement for the KeyOne. One such confirmation was stating that the KeyOne was the most pre-ordered BlackBerry device from Rogers in Canada.

According to Crackberry, Rogers has also started sending out shipping notifications to some of those who already pre-ordered the KeyOne. Meanwhile, Cistulli also reaffirmed that the KeyOne would also be available in the US starting on May 31st “through different retail channels”.

Despite the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 already seeing their launch, there is definitely a lot more to look forward to in 2017. Although the KeyOne won’t be the most exciting device to launch, it will definitely be interesting to see how the sales for this device turn out as BlackBerry looks to rebound once again.

Let us know what you think about the BlackBerry KeyOne and if you’ve already placed your pre-order for the device.
