T-Mobile’s DIGITS rolling out to everyone May 31st

0

T-Mobile has announced widespread availability of their new DIGITS feature. It’ll arrive free for all current T-Mobile customers starting May 31st. New T-Mobile One lines thereafter will also have DIGITS included for an added $10 per month each.

DIGITS is T-Mobile’s new “one number” feature that lets you use one phone number to call and text from almost any device, including your tablet, desktop PC, or even your smartwatch. It’s not unlike AT&T’s NumberSync in that regard.

T-Mobile is sweetening the deal for T-Mobile ONE Plus customers as those folks get an extra DIGITS line for free. Furthermore, those who helped beta test DIGITS will also get additional lines for free. We recommend using them for signing up to shady online websites that want your phone number, or perhaps that guy you met at the club you didn’t want to give your real number to but wanted to leave your options open just in case. Yes, we’ve all been there.
