AT&T will begin selling the LTE-enabled Samsung Gear S3 on May 26

0

It’s been a few months since Samsung launched its latest smartwatch, the Gear S3 while confirming it would be made available on the likes of AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. However, we had yet to hear any news regarding when AT&T would make the Gear S3 available, but that has since changed.

Yesterday, AT&T confirmed the LTE-enabled Gear S3 would be available starting on Friday, May 26th. The carrier will be offering both the more popular Gear S3 Frontier as well as the Gear S3 Classic.

The big benefit to picking up the Gear S3 is that you’ll be able to take advantage of AT&T’s NumberSync feature. This feature allows subscribers to use the same phone number across their smartphone and smartwatch, making it easier to make and receive phone calls and text messages.

As for pricing, AT&T will be offering both Gear S3 variants for just $49.99 when purchasing a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus. If you already picked up your new Galaxy S8, then you’ll be subjected to either paying $17.50 per month for 20 months through the AT&T Installment Plan, or $249.99 for the Gear S3 outright.

Let us know what you think about the Gear S3 and if you’ll be picking one up for yourself.
