This year marks the 9th year of Google I/O. For many people in the Android world, Google I/O is like Christmas. There will be a bunch of new stuff for developers and consumers alike. As the first Android blog in the world, of course, we are in attendance at the big event! We’ve got Rob Jackson and our developer Steve Albright on the ground in Mountain View.

The event will be broadcast live at 1PM Eastern. You can watch along right here. All of our coverage of the event can be found on the Google I/O 2017 page. Check the page throughout the day to see all the news. Also, you can follow us on the social networks below to keep up with it all. What are you looking forward to seeing? Do you expect Google to surprise us with anything big?
