AT&T is rolling out the “red tint” software fix for the Galaxy S8 lineup

0

Over the last few weeks, Samsung has been rolling out a software fix to owners of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. This software update adds the ability to manually adjust your screen color balance, which will remove the red tint issues being seen by many users.

T-Mobile has already rolled out the update to owners of the device on its network, but now it seems AT&T is rolling out the update. Once received, the update will add a new section in the Settings named “Screen Edge Color Balance”.

Once added, you can adjust the color balance of your display, which will allow you to remove the red tint yourself. After the settings have been adjusted, you should see an improvement on your display, but there are no guarantees.

If you have received the update and the red tint on your display is gone, give us a heads up in the comments below.
