Bixby Vision’s Amazon shopping feature arrives for Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S8

0

For one reason or another, Bixby Vision was neutered on Verizon’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The shopping feature, which allows you to scan an object to be taken to its product page on Amazon, was missing.

It was due to a bug that seemingly only affected the Verizon version. No matter now, though, as an update is rolling out to fix the issue.

The fix is coming in as a firmware update and not a simple app fix through Samsung Galaxy Apps, but that’s no matter. It should be quick to pull down and get going with your new functionality. The only thing we need now is Bixby Voice, something that should arrive soon as it’s now rolling out in South Korea.
