You can test new SHIELD updates early with NVIDIA’s preview program

0

NVIDIA wants to let customers try out new software early, so they’ve come up with the SHIELD Preview Program to enable just that. You sign up for a SHIELD forum account, enter your device details, and you’re enrolled.

We should note that you must enroll each device separately if you have multiple, but that shouldn’t add much more than a minute or 2 per device.

After that, you’re set. We’re not sure when to expect the first preview or what it’ll entail, but at least you know you’ll be able to get in on any new fun early. Of course, there’s the chance that preview software doesn’t always work right, but in our experience with these early beta programs for other companies, there isn’t often anything to worry about. If you eventually find you aren’t happy, well, NVIDIA makes it pretty easy to reverse.
