The update for the Galaxy S8’s display issue is rolling out in the UK

0

So, it’s unknown whether the Galaxy S8’s “red tint” display issue is really a problem, but Samsung started pushing an update which would allow users to adjust the color balance in the “Adaptive Display” settings. Yesterday, Samsung began pushing out the update to owners of the device in Korea, and now the update is moving its way to the UK.

According to SamMobile, the update weighs in at 426MB, so you’ll probably want to be connected to WiFi and have your device charging once it arrives. Unfortunately, Samsung has not stated when the update would be arriving in the States, but considering Samsung’s quick movement with this issue, it could be sooner rather than later.

If you have already received the update, feel free to give us a heads up in the comments below.
