In case you haven’t noticed, more and more retailers have been adding the ability to pay for items using your PayPal account or Android Pay. However, what if we told you that these could be combined in the very near future? Well, it seems that is the case as Google and PayPal have announced a partnership making it possible to add your PayPal account to Android Pay.
The new payment option will be added “within the next few weeks” and will let you add your PayPal account to Android Pay. This is huge news as previously, we were semi-limited in where we could use our PayPal balance when it came to shopping.
It also seems that the integration will be seamless, as all you’ll need to do is link your PayPal account, then tap and pay as you normally would with Android Pay. This might finally be the final straw for me to actually take advantage of Android Pay and start using it more often.
