DEAL: Misfit Ray fitness tracker gets a 30% discount

FitBit may be the leader in the fitness tracker category, but that doesn’t mean that it has the market cornered. The Misfit Ray is an appealing option for those who want something that’s a bit more stylish and its new $69.99 price on Amazon (it usually sells for $99.99) should bump up its appeal factor significantly.

Like most other fitness trackers, the Misfit Ray will keep track of your steps and your sleeping pattern and will even vibrate when someone calls your phone. But the MitFit Ray’s killer feature is its 6-month battery life which is achieved by using three replaceable 393 button cell batteries.

If you’re looking for something a little more sophisticated, Amazon has also cut the price of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 to $149 from its usual $179.99 price point. That’s a little more than double of what the Misfit Ray is selling for, but the Gear Fit 2 does include GPS, a heart rate sensor and a high-resolution display which can show notifications from your smartphone.
