Sprint has started rolling out Android Nougat to the LG G5

Earlier this month it was revealed that LG had started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to the LG G5 to owners of the device in South Korea. However, LG failed to share the expected timetable as to when owners of the device in other parts of the world could see the update.

Now, it seems that Sprint customers are the lucky ones as a few owners of the device are seeing the update arrive. One user posted some screenshots of the new update, as well as how much the interface has changed on the G5. Which, refreshingly, has not been changed as much as it may on other devices.

We’ll keep waiting around for LG and other carriers to begin pushing out the Android Nougat update. But the G5 marks the third device in the last week to receive the update after the Moto Z and Moto Z Force users began getting all of the awesome improvements within Android Nougat.
