Google has been slowly tweaking and rolling out updates to the Play Store. Some users have been seeing a new “Cards” UI when performing searches, but this latest change can make finding new apps easier.

Currently, when you navigate to the Top Charts within the Play Store, you are just presented with the list of applications. According to a few readers of Android Police, there is now a toggle within the Top Charts section of the Play Store which allows you to hide applications that have already been installed.

This update is not available for everyone just yet, but it seems these changes are not limited to a specific region. We should be seeing the update rolling out to more users over the next month or so, but let us know if you’ve already received the update.
