Last month Xiaomi unveiled the Mi MIX which is not only a unique device, but one that is looking to change the way we view device displays. The Mi MIX features an almost bezel-less design with the only real “bezel” coming in at the bottom where the front-facing camera is housed.
One of the complaints with the Mi MIX was the size of the display, which measures in at 6.4-inches with a 17:9 screen ration. Now, rumors are swirling that Xiaomi is working on a smaller device codenamed “Nano”. This new device will measure in at 5.5-inches, which is more of what we are accustomed to on devices nowadays.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX Mini will reportedly feature many of the same specs as its big brother, including the Snapdragon 821 processor. However, the main changes that have been leaked at this point include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, whereas the Mi MIX features a 6GB of RAM option and starts at 128GB of storage.
The best part about this leak is the fact that there are some images of the new device. These aren’t the greatest quality as they were seemingly taken in a low-light situation. The Mi MIX has turned a lot of heads already, even though it’s not readily available on the state-side, but would you be interested in a smaller version?
