Google continues to test out new changes to the Play Store

0

Over the last few weeks, Google has been testing a few new changes to the Play Store. It started after a new UI was shown off in a support video for the Pixel, then users began seeing that update rolled out to more devices across the world.

Now, Google is bringing their favorite “Cards” UI to the Play Store. A few users have started reporting seeing this change within the Play Store when searching for apps. Once the search has been completed, you will see a card that will show you the rating, number of installs, and two buttons for “More Info” and “Install”.

This update is seemingly rolling out to more and more users, so it’s not being limited to those running Android Nougat or those with the Pixel or Pixel XL. However, we have yet to see the update roll out to our devices here at Phandroid.

If the update has appeared on your device, give us a heads up by leaving us a screenshot in the comments below. Additionally, if there are any other new changes, feel free to give us a shout.
