TAG Heuer’s Rose Gold Android Wear watch for $9,900 is probably a terrible investment, but it’s nice to dream

Thought $1,500 for a TAG Heuer Android Wear watch was absurd? Try $9,900, the going price for a brand new Rose Gold model being offered by the company at various boutiques.

At such an exorbitant price tag, the device is truly meant for the gleefully rich who also happen to be tech fans in love with Android, and probably no one else.

These jewelry purchases can often be seen as “investments” as the most quality wares don’t have a ton of depreciation over time. TAG Heuer themselves have basically admitted that their timepiece is likely to lose a massive amount of luster over the years, with the company offering vouchers for comparable mechanical watches for any TAG Heuer buyer who wants to make sure they’re keeping up with technological times.

That aside, it’s a fine option from the standpoint of quality Android Wear watches. It’s rocking a dual-core Intel chipset with 1GB of RAM and a 410mAh battery under the hood. That’s plenty juice to deliver a quality experience. You’ll have to get in contact with TAG Heuer or your local boutiques if you want one.
