The HTC Ocean is supposedly “real and alive”

0

It was late September that we first heard about the HTC Ocean. It’s a device that was visualized in a product marketing concept reel, with the video showing features like “Sense Touch” which lets you use the edges of the phone to control its UI. The video itself was the concept.

At the time, it wasn’t clear if the device in the video was also just a concept for purposes of showcasing a prototypical marketing reel, but Evan Blass is attempting to eliminate some more mystery: he says, per a source, that the HTC Ocean is “real and alive.”

Unfortunately, the details stopped there. We’re still not sure what else this supposed Ocean has to offer, but HTC could stand to offer a killer app that no other phone has right now, and Sense Touch could very well fit that mold. Let’s hope to hear more about this mystery device very soon.
