Honor teasing new smartwatch reveal for October 18th

Huawei can’t seem to get enough of its Honor products, as we’re currently expecting the Honor 6X to be unveiled at an event in China on October 18th. Today, the official Honor account on the Chinese social network Weibo shared a new teaser image that suggests we’ll be getting a peek at more than just a new phone from Huawei’s sub-brand.

Last year Honor debuted a fitness tracker called the Honor Z1 and it looks like this year the brand plans on debuting an actual smartwatch alongside its new Honor 6X that’s coming later this month.

This is the only teaser we’ve seen for the smartwatch so we’ve got no specs to share at this moment, but if it ends up looking half as nice as the Huawei Watch while sharing the Honor’s budget pricing model it could be a great entry-level Android Wear device.
