Official Google Pixel photos leak thanks to trigger happy retailers

It seems Carphone Warehouse is more excited than you and I for the October 4th Google Pixel event. We can’t wait for the announcement, but Carphone Warehouse didn’t: they pushed their Google Pixel promo page live, complete with some snazzy Google press photos.

We assume this page will get pulled, so have taken the liberty of grabbing and sharing some of them below:

The landing page reveals a bunch of other information as well, but we’re wary of its accuracy due to the inclusion of a MicroSD slot, which previous rumors suggest won’t exist.

Similar shenanigans have been spotted at Bell Canada by Android-loving Redditors.

Was these rush jobs gone wrong by Carphone Warehouse and Bell? Or maybe intentional slip-ups to drive more Pixel purchasers to their websites?
