With their headquarters all set up and a global strategy ready to roll, LeEco seems keen on making their presence in the US very well known. The company has set an October 19th announcement date in the country.

TVs, VR, supercars and bikes. Oh, and phones. That’s LeEco.

It’s uncertain what LeEco will look to announce here in the early going. Our obvious guess is that we’ll see them start to push their latest phones, perhaps the LeEco Pro 3 we’ve heard about in recent times. The company’s phones aren’t so unique that they warrant any more special consideration than anyone else in the smartphone game these days, however an aggressive pricing strategy or a comprehensive suite of software (LeEco is one of China’s biggest streaming media players) could earn them some attention.

LeEco also has hands in other areas of consumer electronics, including smart TVs and even supercars. We’re not sure they’re quite ready to advertise these bad boys stateside just yet — after all, they’re still technically in the conceptual stages — but knowing their desire to get into self-driving technology and a budding industry starting to pop in America, they could.

We’ll be dialed into the company’s happenings when October 19th arrives, so if you’re curious to see what the next big Chinese player to hit America has to offer, stick with us.
