Samsung is bringing Grace UX to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s big new software change was Grace UX. It featured a much cleaner UI and overall design, including slick background blur when viewing folders and widgets, new swipe gestures for performing different actions on the homescreen, and more.

But many folks haven’t been able to fully enjoy that new UI as they’re more concerned about their phones burning their hands off. Well, thankfully it seems Samsung will be bringing Grace UX to their safer lot of phones while the Note 7’s situations get sorted. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are both said to be getting the goods in a forthcoming upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat.

The update may also see improvements and tweaks to the devices’ Always On feature. The only question is how long it’ll take to see all this reach the handsets. We know that the update is already in testing, but we’re not sure how long it will take to get here. In the meantime, a combination of Samsung Good Lock and a custom launcher does well to make any TouchWiz hater happy.
