SwiftKey’s word predictions are now powered by neural networks

0

SwiftKey has received a big upgrade today. The biggest feature making its way into the smart keyboard is a brand new engine for word prediction. SwiftKey has rebuilt the engine on the back of neural network technology.

The underlying technology allows SwiftKey’s engine to better understand relationships between words and provide better context for predictions. The result should be more natural word predictions that could almost predict an entire sentence for you. Here’s what else is coming as part of the update:

  • Two new languages: Esperanto and Dhivehi – Maldivian
  • Italian SwiftKey users can enjoy updated Italian predictions
  • Support for Android N’s diverse emoji in the prediction bar

All you need to do for the upgrade is head to Google Play and download it.
