The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are excellent devices. Both have been living in the top of our Best Phones rankings since release. Samsung has hit the ball out of the park this year, and the money is rolling in.

Samsung is expecting a second quarter profit of over $7 billion. That’s 17% higher than last year and the highest it’s been since the $7.4 billion profit in 2014. Revenue is also expected to be up from $42 billion to $43 billion. We won’t know the official numbers until the end of this month, but it’s certainly looking like Samsung has a bang-up quarter on their hands.

Samsung makes a lot of stuff. Everything from TVs to refrigerators. So how do we know the Galaxy S7 is the reason for success? According to Reuters, the top earner this quarter has been the mobile division. The mobile division itself could be up 54% from last year. That’s a lot of phones being sold.

Do you own a Samsung phone right now? Do you see a lot of Galaxy S7’s out in the wild?
