OnePlus begins rolling out v3.2.1 of Oxygen OS to the OnePlus 3 after halting previous update

0

Last weekend, OnePlus began rolling out version 3.2.0 of Oxygen OS to OnePlus 3 owners which brought better RAM management to take advantage of the 6GB included with the device, as well as bug fixes. Unfortunately, that update was halted for unknown reasons and no sign as to when a new update would be coming out. Fast forward to today, and OnePlus has started pushing v3.2.1 of Oxygen OS to OnePlus 3 devices around the world.

Highlights:

  • Fixed some notification issues
  • Addressed SIM recognition issue
  • Enabled sRGB mode in developer options
  • Improved RAM management
  • Improved GPS performance
  • Enhanced audio playback quality
  • Updated custom icon packs
  • Improved camera quality/functionality
  • Fixed some issues in Gallery
  • Implemented latest Google security patches
  • Fixed bugs in Clock/Music apps

The latest update brings all of the same bug fixes as v3.2, as well as June’s Android Security patch. OnePlus released the latest security patch to OnePlus One owners yesterday, but users of the OnePlus 3 can be sure to receive the July Security Update sooner rather than later although it won’t be in this update. It’s expected that users around the world will receive the update within 48 hours and the update will arrive via an OTA.
