Yesterday, Verizon Wireless decided to shake up its plans a bit bringing more data for just a bit more money, along with a few “new” features that should have been there all along. In addition to the new changes to plans and account offerings, Verizon also announced it would be releasing an updated version of its My Verizon application.

What’s New:

  • The Data Hub: This is your control center. Clearly see how much data is being used, who is using it and how to get more when you need it.
  • Safety Mode: You can stay online even after you’ve used all your data, without a surprise overage.
  • Bill: A clear and simple bill that explains what’s changed from month to month. Understand and pay your bill with just a few taps.
  • On-Demand Support: Help that’s there before you need it. Immediate answers without having to call for assistance.
  • Shop: The fastest and easiest way to browse, buy and customize the latest devices, all without leaving the app.
  • The Feed: All you need to know about your data, account and bill in one real-time Feed.

The updated My Verizon app is available for download today and if you already have the app, you should be seeing the update within the next day or so.
