Google unveiled the new Android Nougat (we’re still not sure how we feel about that name) statue yesterday, but many of us were still curious to know what version number would be accompanying the new version of Android. While the beta builds of Android Nougat have dozens of new features that are not available in Android Marshmallow, some have speculated that the N build of Android would only bump the version number up to 6.5.

Fortunately, the speculation is now over as Google has posted its official Android Nougat statue unveiling video to YouTube, revealing that the new version of Google’s mobile operating system will be Android 7.0.
