Netflix for Android TV finally gains universal search feature

One of the biggest complaints surrounding the Netflix for Android TV application was the lack of a universal search function This was bothersome to Android TV owners because the Roku and Apple TV applications has this ability out of the box. Thanks to an upcoming update, this highly-requested feature will be making its way to your Android TV.

The Android Twitter account posted a tweet stating that the app will be getting the feature. Unfortunately, there has not been any mention as to when this update will be available, but with this confirmation, we can expect to see the update in the next few days.

With more devices being released with Google Cast support, and new Android TV’s in the works, this will be a welcome addition for anyone looking to go on a Netflix binge. Or, ya know, that Netflix and Chill sesh.
