Video: Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is perfectly functional after 50 drops

0

We’ve all seen the front and back of the Samsung Galaxy S7 shatter after a few drops, but the rugged Samsung Galaxy S7 Active tells a different story. While the phone features all the same internals as the regular Galaxy S7, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S7 Active with a more durable polycarbonate body which can withstand quite a bit of abuse.

In the video below, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is dropped 50 times. After that many drops, most smartphones would be rendered completely useless, but the Galaxy S7 Active managed to survive with only a handful of scrapes on its body and a few scratches on its display. While this test was done on a flat surface in a controlled environment, it’s quite impressive to see a smartphone withstand this much abuse.
