0

Just a quick update for you folks: we’re at Google I/O! Our team will be waking up bright and early to head to the Shoreline Amphitheatre where Google will be holding their annual keynote (10AM Pacific, 1PM Eastern) to talk about the future of Android, Chrome, the web and all the other great things they have their toes dipped into.

While we don’t have a complete idea of what we’ll be treated to, we know that Android Wear will be a big part of the show, Xiaomi may announce a new Android TV device, VR will be a big talking point with Android VR expected to be announced, Google will make their first big push into the smart home space, and more details on Android N are sure to be discussed. Anything else is icing on the cake.

We’ll be bringing you coverage of all the goings-on, including hands-on with any new app and device announcements, as well as the many other great things that are bound to be at the show. Be sure to stick with Phandroid today and throughout the week to keep yourself informed of everything that’s happening!
