Samsung Galaxy View tablet

The tablet market has seen a shift in recent years. We went from an abundance of 7-inch devices to huge tablets that can replace PCs. At least that’s what tablet makers are hoping. Samsung has released a giant tablet in the past, and now it looks like Lenovo is jumping on board.

This news comes from GFX Bench, which recently tested a Lenovo device with some big specs. The device is listed as having an 18.4-inch display (2560×1440), Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM, and Android 6.0.1 “Google Edition.” The “Google Edition” seems to indicate that this device will be running near stock Android. The other interesting spec is that the front camera is 8MP while the rear is only 0.3MP. Hopefully, that will prevent anyone from snapping pics at a concert with a giant tablet.

That’s all we really know about this tablet so far. What do you think of “mega tablets?” Are you ready to replace your PC with a tablet?

Ever since I flipped open my first phone I've been obsessed with the devices. I've dabbled in other platforms, but Android is where I feel most at home.
