Sprint, T-Mobile Galaxy S7/S7 Edge users get much-needed maintenance updates

0

Sprint and T-Mobile are each pushing out important updates to Samsung Galaxy S7 users. The updates are largely quick maintenance upgrades with your usual “performance and stability” fixes. That said, they did address some notable specific issues.

For the T-Mobile duo, a fix for issues with the power and volume buttons have been fixed. The issue would cause the buttons to become unresponsive, and we’re glad to see that it wasn’t a hardware defect. T-Mobile’s update is coming in as version UVU2APD7 and a light download size of 164MB.

For Sprint, the Samsung Galaxy S7 gets improvements to voice-over WiFi, improved battery life, and April’s security updates. That one is a 141.93MB and coming in as version G930PVPU2APD3. We don’t yet know if the Edge variant will get a similar upgrade, but considering they’re practically the same device we’d imagine it will eventually.

Grab these updates as soon as possible if you could benefit from these improvements.
