Samsung and Sprint are rolling out Android Marshmallow to a couple of older devices. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport are getting some love. This is a month after the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 got Marshmallow on Sprint, but it’s still nice to see they haven’t abandoned these users.

The Marshmallow update brings security patches from both Samsung and Google, bug fixes, and delicious goodies such as Doze Mode, granular app permissions, Google Now on Tap, and more. The update starts today for both devices. Note Edge users should all have the update by May 2nd while S5 Sport users should have it by May 11th.

You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About device. Let us know if you have received this update on your Sprint Samsung phone!
