T-Mobile Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, Verizon S6 Edge+ get Android Marshmallow updates

0

To the chagrin of AT&T users who still haven’t received Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Samsung’s 2015 flagships, T-Mobile users are starting to be hooked up with the goods. The update is now heading out to both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, coming in as versions G920TUVU3EPD1 and G925TUVU3EPD1, respectively. The updates are about 1.2GB in size.

Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge+ users are also receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It brings all the nice Marshmallow changes we love, but also comes with the upgraded Edge panel that was introduced with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

In related news, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has also been upgraded, but since it’s already on Marshmallow today’s update only brings minor changes for stability and performance improvements.
