Tablets that can morph into statuette toys — the future! Or not. Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 2 being transformed into a Transformers robot sounds cool, right? Well… it is. But it’s not real. This tablet is a toy that is completely non-functional as a smart device. There are no internals for computing, just a crap ton of hinges for shaping it into a model of a devastating robot.
It’s damned cool, though, and it makes us dream of a future where something like this can actually be real. Take a look at the video above if you’re interested, and we’ll keep dreaming about that sweet future in the meantime.
