Sprint’s Galaxy S6 Edge Plus also receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow

0

Earlier today we learned that Sprint had begun rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Turns out the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is also joining them in the Marshmallow winners circle. The update brings a host of new features, including the battery sipping Doze mode and granular app permissions.

According to Phandroid reader averymlewis, the update seems to have sped up fingerprint recognition, which could have something to do with Marshmallow’s native fingerprint API. In either case, if you have a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, now’s the time to jump into the settings and pull the update (if you haven’t been prompted already). T-Mobile, where you at?
