Google’s first April Fools joke is 8 days early and reveals a Nexus Space with 12GB of RAM

We still have about 8 days to go before we hit April Fools, but Google wants to have fun and they want to have fun now. They’ve started messing with Android developers by launching a new “Space Reviews” section in their developer console.

The section is meant to surface reviews sent from outer space and with space phones, such as the Nexus Space (or Nexus 16) that one Alex Scott seems to be using. The phone in question is showing as one with over 12GB of RAM, a 7.21-inch display (3000 x 2000 resolution with 500DPI) and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Sounds amazing! The only sad thing is the review was posted 13 years into the future, which means that guy still hasn’t updated to Android Ticky Tack or whichever version Google will have been on by then.

[Thanks, Luke!]
