LG X Max, X Speed, X Style, and X Power could be next up in LG’s new product line

0

This past weekend, LG officially announced 2 new devices that will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress: the LG X Cam and LG X Screen. What sounded like just a pair of offshoot devices, could be the start of something much bigger.

According to everyone’s favorite tipster, @evleaks, LG is also planning to launch the LG X Max, LG X Speed, LG X Style, and LG X Power. These devices are said to be out later in the year and although no information outside of their names were given, they lead us to believe that LG will be focusing on one key aspect from each of these devices, allowing consumers to pick the smartphone that best suits their needs. For instance, the X Speed could feature a powerful processor, while the X Power comes with a beefy battery.

There will likely be some trade-offs, but it’s an interesting strategy if they target a low price point and one key high-end spec. If played out right, it could spell success for the company. We’ll just need to see what kind of sacrifices we’ll have to make first.
