Samsung Galaxy View receives another price drop, now only $450 from various retailers

Where not sure where the massive Samsung Galaxy View fits in the world (in more ways than one) and apparently there are a lot of folks who feel the same. We watched as the Galaxy View launched back in November at $600, only to receive a $100 price drop a few weeks later. Today, it seems the price is dropping again — by $50 — where you can find it at various retailers selling for only $450.

The Samsung Galaxy View features a huge 18.4-inch 1080p display, perfect for streaming video no matter where you are in the house. At that size, it’s like a portable television and it even features a handle for carrying it about. Other than that, it’s your standard tablet internals. Inside you’ll find a Exynos 7580 octa-core processor, 64GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot, 2GB of RAM, and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera. The 5,700mAh battery is supposedly capable of delivering 83 days of standby time or 8 hours of continuous usage. Here’s where you can buy:
