A few months ago, Instagram quietly rolled out multiple account support for a few users. The feature was removed almost as quickly as it arrived, but now it’s officially back for good. Instagram announced the new feature in a post today. You will need version 7.15 to get multiple account support.

The multiple accounts are seamlessly blended into the app. You can add a new account from the settings. To switch accounts, simple tap on the drop-down from your profile page. You’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app to show which account you’re using at the moment. It’s a simple feature that will make life easier for power users.

If Instagram is your thing, be sure to follow our newly created Phandroid account. Download Instagram for Android from the Google Play Store now. Do you have multiple Instagram accounts? Do you have a single Instagram account?
