Drake spoofs Hotline Bling in T-Mobile’s Super Bowl ad

T-Mobile’s first ad for Super Bowl 50 has been fully revealed, and Drake fans will love it. Hotline Bling — the hit song and video that drove the internet crazy — is being spoofed for a skit that calls out T-Mobile’s rivals.

The video — which you can see above — has wireless executives asking Drake to modify his song to mention fine print like upgrade clauses and data limits for streaming music whenever he says “you used to call me on my cell phone.” And somehow, Drake doesn’t think it’ll affect the song at all.

Not going to lie — we thought T-Mobile would be a bit more bold with their Super Bowl shenanigans this year. Still, it’s important to remember that there’s still another ad yet to be seen, so we’ll have to wait for that to see what they really have up their sleeves.
