HTC One M9 in the UK is finally receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow

0

It never feels good to sit waiting on the sidelines and for HTC One M9 owners in the UK, this was especially true when they watched the older HTC One M8 receive an update to Marshmallow before them. It’s not uncommon for older flagships to see an update before newer ones (it’s just something that happens from time to time), but it looks like M9 users can finally put it behind them.

The official HTC UK Twitter account announced today that Android 6.0 Marshmallow has now begun rolling out to unlocked versions of the One M9 and select carrier models. This mostly lines up with HTC’s revised “early 2016” launch timing for the update on the M8/M9. For anyone still anxiously awaiting the update, hang in there. It’s coming.
